Saturdays are my day off, and today Dean and I played with all the critters, big and small. River got her time as well, and I plan to write tomorrow's blog about what she did today. But, it's late, and I need to get an early start tomorrow, so I thought I'd share a few photos I took that tickled my funny-bone. No animals were harmed in the filming of this incident - honest!
We took Dory, (my young lab), Asston Martin, (the mini donkey), Rose Royce (the pinto mini horse) and Mini Pearl, (who is blind so needs to be on a lead) out to the back of the property for some fun. On the way back up the hill, Asston and Rose got the "rips", and decided to run. Unfortunately, Dory - not being the most agile of dogs (actually, she's pretty clumsy - and I say that with love), got right in the way, and this is what happened (remember you can click on the images and get them in full size if you want).................
Dory didn't utter a sound, popped right up and ran after them. She's a little toughie!
I'll be back tomorrow with River's adventures from today, and who knows what will happen tomorrow!
They go the yips and ran right over her!! What a stoic dog she is.
